Leave your car behind if you’re planning to sample some vino during this fun and lighthearted festival, or bring a designated driver along. This event will be held on Friday, December 6th, at 11 a.m., in Dahlonega Square, Chestatee. Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater to try and win a prize. Then, enjoy a pleasant North Georgia wine tour that includes trips to three local wineries.

Mountain Country Christmas In Lights

This holiday-themed festival will be held at the Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds in Hiawassee on December 12th, 13th, and 14th, 2019, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds are situated at 1311 Music Hall Road. This event is tailor-made for families who want to enjoy the pleasures of the winter season. When you attend, you’ll enjoy superb music and great food, and you’ll have the chance to see gorgeous seasonal decorations and pretty lights.

Hippie Fest

This winter festival will take place in March and it will be unique enough to be very interesting, while still having plenty of traditional elements that provide charming and homespun appeal. Hippie Fest will be held on March 14, 2019, at Uncle Shucks Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch (125 Bannister Road) in Dawsonville, GA. It’s a rain-or-shine event that attracts hippies from all over America. This grassroots gathering celebrates peace and love. Attend to enjoy a hippie auto show, vintage bohemian shopping, do-it-yourself tie-dye, and so much more. This event is suitable for all ages.
