Trim Levels
The 2020 Ford Mustang is available in nine trim levels: EcoBoost, Fastback, EcoBoost Premium Fastback, EcoBoost Convertible, GT Fastback, EcoBoost Premium Convertible, GT Premium Fastback, Bullitt, and the Shelby GT500. The sleek lines and aggressive stance make this sports car look like it means business. The exterior's lines remain clean thanks to the EasyFuel capless fuel filler, while the hood vents add a sporty feel.
The Shelby GT500 has an aerodynamic design and features race-inspired premium materials. Choose from 18 different wheel styles. The GT500 rides on 20-inch flow-formed wheels as standard equipment.
Engine
The Mustang has five engine options available for the 2020 model year. The EcoBoost trim levels have a 2.3-liter EcoBoost that gets 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The GT trim levels are powered by a 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V-8 engine that cranks out 460 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The Bullitt has a 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V-8 under the hood that pumps out 480 horsepower and gets 420 pound-feet of torque.
The top-of-the-line GT500 is powered by a supercharged 5.2-liter V-8 that cranks out an incredible 526 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a TREMEC seven-speed transmission.
Performance
The 2020 GT500 is Ford's most powerful street-legal vehicle of all time and has an insane top speed of 186 miles per hour. You can customize the drive modes in your Mustang to suit all types of road conditions. When you want to really hear the rev of the engine and let competitors know you're coming, set the mode to the Track setting. If you're on a Sunday morning cruise and prefer a quiet ride, simply switch to Quiet Start.
Interior
Sit inside the cockpit-style cabin of the Mustang and wrap your hands around the leather-wrapped steering wheel, which comes standard on all trim levels. Several seating configurations are available and allow you to customize the interior to best suit your needs. The touch screen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration allow you to easily access navigation, playlists, texts, calls, and more. With SYNC 3 voice-activated technology, your hands never need to leave the wheel to open your apps.
The Mustang includes a 12-inch LCD digital cluster, which is fully configurable with custom colors and layout designs. This feature is standard on The Bullitt and GT500 include this feature as standard equipment and it is optional on the EcoBoost Premium and GT Premium trim levels.
With FordPass Connect, you can connect up to 10 devices and the 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot allows you to stay connected anywhere. The hot spot even works up to 50 feet outside of your Mustang.
