The 2024 Ford Escape makes for a smooth ride whether you’re taking the kids to school, commuting long distances for work, or planning your next getaway. It’s a spacious SUV for families and professionals of all budgets, giving you multiple trims to choose from based on your price range. Learn about this year’s lineup of Ford Escape trims.

Escape Active

The base model comes with 17-inch wheels and the push-button start feature for faster start times. It has an 8-inch LCD color display with Wi-Fi to connect wirelessly to up to ten devices. It also has dual-zone climate control to keep you comfortable all year long.

Escape ST-Line

The ST-Line adds special badging, a more prominent grille, and a spoiler to the exterior for a more sophisticated look that will turn heads everywhere you go.  The standard includes roof rack rails for hassle-free hauling. It also upgrades to the 18-inch rock metallic wheels.

Escape ST-Line Select

The Select version helps you escape the winter blues with heated front-row seats. You can upgrade to 19-inch wheels for a larger stance. The remote start system also enables you to keep the interior warm before you depart.

Escape ST-Line Elite

The Elite adds a broad LED light bar that increases visibility when you’re ready to leave the pavement behind. It’s perfect for finding your campsite in the middle of the night or commuting on slick roads after the sun goes down. The rain-sensing windshield wipers keep you focused on the road. You also get a wireless charging pad for your phone or tablet, so you don’t have to fuss with cords.

Escape Platinum

The Platinum has everything included in the Elite version, but the 19-inch dark wheels come standard. You can see everything happening behind and to the side of the car with the 360-degree camera system.

Customizing Your Ford Escape

The Ford Escape can be fitted with a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, which produces 180 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and 199 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,000 RPM, and the 2-liter EcoBoost engine, which produces 250 horsepower at 5,500 RPM and 280 lb.-ft. of torque at 3,000 RPM.

You can also choose between front-wheel drive and intelligent all-wheel drive to get better traction on rough roads. Most models allow you to upgrade to 18- or 19-inch wheels for a higher stance and more ground clearance.
