1. Papa’s Place Family Restaurant
You’ll have a great view of the mountains when you sit down for breakfast at Papa’s Place, giving you the perfect backdrop for a delicious meal. Of all the options they have on their menu for you, not much tops their signature buttermilk biscuits. You can get yours with a fried egg and a breakfast meat of your choice to create a filling breakfast sandwich. Wash it all down with a refreshing glass of apple or orange juice.
2. Foothill Grill
This spot serves breakfast food all day, so you can satisfy your cravings even if you slept in and missed your alarm. Of all the different selections you’ll have to choose from, nothing beats their Jumbo Pancakes for us. These buttermilk pancakes come out big and fluffy, making a stack of three of them more than enough of a sweet treat to satisfy you all morning long.
3. Wagon Wheel
Southern comfort is for breakfast at Wagon Wheel, with all sorts of morning fare to fill your belly with. We got a complete breakfast all on one plate when we stopped in for a visit, with a tall stack of pancakes, crispy hash browns, and a side of bacon leaving us thoroughly full by the end of the meal. A slice of their fresh-baked pie makes the perfect dessert afterward if you’ve got an early morning sweet tooth.
4. Yellow Daisy Bed and Breakfast
While the Yellow Daisy makes a great place for visitors to our area to spend the night, they also serve up some delicious breakfast that even locals can enjoy. Their artisan breads make the perfect snack, and you can wash it all down with some of their herbal teas that come out fresh-brewed. They also have a lot of different baked goods to start your morning off with a sweet treat.
5. Picnic Cafe and Dessertery
You haven’t had the best of what breakfast can offer until you try the Egg Salad on a Bagel at Picnic Cafe. You’ll get it on a bagel of your choice, with varieties available from an everything bagel to just a plain one. Be sure to try one of the fresh goods from their bakery before you leave.
