Ford has been synonymous with capable trucks for decades. From small pickups to large, heavy-duty workhorses, the Dearborn automaker has a varied selection of models to choose from. If you’re looking for a new truck, be sure to explore these models at your local Ford dealership!

1. 2024 Ford Maverick

The compact Maverick may be Ford’s smallest truck, but it’s certainly big on great features. In its base form, it’s powered by a turbocharged 2.0L inline-4 engine making 250 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque—enough grunt for a towing capacity of up to 4,000 pounds when equipped with the 4K Tow Package. A 191-hp 2.5L inline-4 hybrid system maximizes fuel economy at an EPA-rated 37 MPG combined.

In addition to being able to hold 1,500 pounds of payload, the Maverick’s bed can be had with a tonneau box cover and a spray-in bed liner for added durability. Inside, you’ll find spacious seating for five and lots of storage for your belongings, including a compartment hidden under the rear seats. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system is found on every trim and comes with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto integration and support for mobile Wi-Fi.

2. 2024 Ford Ranger

For the 2024 model year, this famed mid-sized truck enters its fifth generation, so it sports a dramatic facelift and new equipment. Its standard powerplant continues to be the robust 270-hp 2.3L turbo inline-4, but buyers can now opt for a 315-hp 2.7L twin-turbo V6 that develops a hefty 400 lb-ft of torque. Whichever motor you choose, it will be paired with a slick 10-speed automatic transmission.

Avid off-roaders will appreciate that all Ranger trims offer an intelligent, shift-on-the-fly 4-wheel drive system and an electronic locking rear differential. For added utility, the truck also features six tie-down hooks in the bed and up to two towing hooks. V6 models have a towing capacity of up to 7,500 pounds. The interior has several changes, such as a fully digital instrument panel and additional storage bins and compartments.

3. 2024 Ford F-150

The latest F-150 is another model that features a number of revisions. Fans will notice that the iconic full-sized pickup has a more aggressive front grille and stylish new wheels. What hasn’t changed is a wide range of engines. These include the standard 290-hp 3.3L V6, a 400-hp 5.0L V8, and a high-output 3.5L V6 that makes 450 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque. 5.0L V8-equipped models have an impressive towing capacity of up to 13,000 pounds.
